The Martinez Chamber of Commerce will host a two-day free music festival with local bands such as “Kerry & The Potentials”, “The PTK Band”, and “The Groove Doctors” – on the first day.

While on the second day, they will host “Heart & Soul”, “The Chris Scoville Band”, “Uncle Buck 80s Band”, and “Bobby Zoppi & The Corduroys”. 

As you enjoy your day, listening to great music, there will be quick breaks for the BBQ Competition Awards. With over 50 hand-picked arts & crafts and food vendor booths, you will discover something for everyone.

  1. Camp out  in Pleasant Hill – For Dads who love the outdoors

Celebrate Father’s Day weekend with family in the great outdoors as Pleasant Hill Park becomes Camp Pleasant Hill. Check-in on Saturday at 3:30 pm Sunday (June 18) and checkout at 9:00 am (June 18).   1. Play Catch on the A’s field – For Dads who love sports

Is there a better way to celebrate Father’s Day in the East Bay Area than to play catch with your Father figure on the field? On June 19, after the game, there will be a Father’s Day Play Catch event. This is to make the day memorable and to get autographs from your favorite A’s players. Another fun way to spend time with your dad is to attend the Inaugural Jon Snyder Father’s Day Car Show at Blackhawk Museum. The event will begin at 8:00 am and run till 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 19. It is a casual event open to all who want to show off their vehicle while relaxing with other car lovers. There will be a goodie bag containing Cajun Cayenne Hot Sauce for the first 175 registered cars. You can register your car here.
